Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing selling products in over 100 countries with 25 factories worldwide. They are currently looking for a seeking a Graduate HR Assistant / Payroll Assistant to provide day-to-day support to the HR team, assisting with the recruitment, payroll, and general administration of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, with involvement in strategy and selected projects.

Graduate HR Assistant / Payroll Assistant main responsibilities will be:

* Assist with day-to-day operations within HR

* Support the People and Development Manager on Strategy and Projects

* Provide clerical and administrative support including electronic and hard copy filing

* Compile and update employee records, including on Time and Attendance System

* Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment training, grievances, performance evaluations)

* Assist with hiring and onboarding process, including placing ads on job boards and website, arranging interviews, taking up references and organising and delivering Day 1 inductions.

* Organise and take minutes at investigation/absence review meetings

* KPI data collection and analysis

* Employee Relations

* Take ownership for the management of hospitality, Company car, Company Shop

* Work with HR Officer to deliver induction programme to new starters

* Maintenance of the Time and Attendance and Payroll systems to ensure all information is correct.

* Manage absence records for employees, using the Bradford point’s procedure.

* Coordination of the Occupational Health service to site.

* Accurate, collation and processing of monthly salary information and seeking authorisation for hours on exception report

* Any other job that can reasonably be expected

Graduate HR Assistant / Payroll Assistant candidate profile:

Our client is looking for a person who likes working in a fast-paced environment, can make the role their own and who wants to help the organisation continue its growth. This role supports the People and Development Manager and HR Officer and will involve a wide range of activities. Ultimately, you’ll help ensure the HR department is organised and operates smoothly.

* Human Resources or People Management graduate. Previous intern or placement experience in HR, or relevant administrative experience would be preferred
