Graduate R&D Laboratory Technician (12-month FTC)

Hours: Days (Mon - Friday)

Our client, an established diagnostic company are looking to appoint a graduate R&D Laboratory Technician. The successful Candidate will get the chance to work as part of a successful R&D team; gaining furthered career progression in a 13485/GMP regulated Medical Devices industry.

The role is initially on a 12 month FTC but has the chance to go permanent at the end of the contract.

The Role:

Adhering to SOPs and regulatory standards at all times
Assisting in the improvement of the performance of existing products
Writing and preparing reports and implementing amendments
Research, analyse and apply information for new product development and improvement
Deliver development work so as to meet specific project milestones as defined by individual project timelines.
Conducting review of literature related to investigations being undertaken, conducting and where necessary, enhancing experimental design, carrying out research studies.

The Person:

BSc or equivalent in a Life Science related discipline (with an element in Microbiology- gram staining, sterility, culture media etc)
Excellent planning & organisational skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Computer literate
Driven & motivated to learn new skills
