We are currently recruiting for conscientious and confident graduates for temporary flexible roles in a sixth form college in central Manchester.
The Role
Cover supervisors for flexible day to day bookings and ongoing full-time supply roles.
The role will include:
Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
Delivering pre-planned lessons
Using provided resources to encourage learning
Managing the behaviour within the classroom
Developing independent study skills and peer learning
Pastoral and learning support
Managing handover back to the teacher
A degree in psychology, sociology, English, Biology, Chemistry or mathematics would be beneficial

To join us and be successful in this graduate cover supervisor role, you will need to:
a minimum of six week's experience in the last 3 years of working with groups of children or teenagers

Bachelor's degree or higher equivalent qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
